I love card games. Some of them I love so much that I just have to talk about it. More talking than friends and family can put up with. And so, I makes podcasts. These shows are my chance to talk, as much as I want, about these games that bring me so much joy. I've been playing card games since the Weatherlight expansion of Magic. These games have brought me a lifetime of puzzles to solve, characters to despise, mechanics to pick apart, and more. My podcasts are about the games I'm currently playing and enjoy the most. I make these shows because I love what they are about. So, why ask for money if I'd do it for free? Well, that's fair. And here's what I decided. These shows cost me time, money, and energy. I'm happy to donate all three to this project, and I have for years. But, if you like what I'm doing and you want to buy me a beer. Well then I would accept that and be extremely grateful that you like what I do. If I ever end up being so ridiculously lucky that I have more money coming in than the shows cost to produce, then I will find ways to give back to the group of people who have helped me out. And if you just want to listen to the show and not hear me asking for your money, that's cool too. The Build Phase Podcast The Build Phase is a show about the VS System 2PCG. Brought to you by Team Build Phase, the show features interviews, deck guides, card analysis, and a generally positive outlook. As a fan of OldVS and many other card games mrben brings a seasoned perspective to each episode, sharing tips on card value, deck builds, and turn planning. When you build a better turn, you win more games. Shardlight Radio: The Argent Saga Podcast Sadly, Shardlight Radio has come to a close. With the covid related upheaval keeping up with the game proved impossible and putting out a show that lacked hands on experience with the cards felt wrong. It simply wouldn't meet the standard mrben sets for his shows. Perhaps when things get back to normal and playing at the local store can resume then maybe this show could return. But until then Shardlight Radio is on an indefinite hiatus. Shardlight Radio is mrben's newest podcast adventure. The Argent Saga CCG relased at Gen Con 2019 and our host instantly fell in love. This show will dive deep on card analysis, deck building, and game strategy. With some topics going hard into the competitive scene and other episodes focused on casual fans of the game, Shardlight Radio offers content of value no matter what your preferred experience of Argent Saga may be. No Bags No Boards One of my earliest podcast adeventures was playing cohost on a comic book review show. In each episode Billy and myself discuss what we are reading that week and tend to ramble about the big books of the day more often than is warrented. This show was recorded in a very DIY fashion. The audio reflects my lack experiance in recording and editing. The gear used to make these shows was also just what we had lying around.. and you can hear it.  Not my best work, but a great time was had making these shows. Patrons are welcome to witness my fumbling early attempts to find my voice and niche.
