Jimmy is a 40-year-old Southern California native that got tired of all the partisanship in the media and wanted a platform to vent…so he created The Moderate Podcast. Although a register Republican, he looks at things in a pragmatic way, and doesn't force his views into any particular political narrative. His goal is to call it like it is, giving praise and criticism to both sides of the aisle. Jimmy's background in radio includes play-by-play and color commentary for the Cal State Fullerton baseball team, and running a successful bowling podcast.
In October 2019, Jimmy's dad James joined the show as a co-host. He is a registered Democrat, but tends to lean more to the right. He is retired and joins the show from his home in the mountains of Southern California. James is a native of Houston, Texas.
